City Picnic meets Foodsave Banquet 2026
In the early evening, Weite Gasse is transformed into a vibrant hub for culture, enjoyment and socialising. Kulturaktiv Baden, the Reformed Church in Baden and numerous contributors invite you to a city picnic featuring a Foodsave banquet. Look forward to music, dance, theatre, readings and creative contributions from various cultural practitioners. For children, there are hands-on activities to discover and try out.
The culinary highlight is the Foodsave banquet: A delicious multi-course meal is created from food that would otherwise be thrown away. The Bagno Popolare Bar will provide refreshing drinks and a cosy atmosphere. Together, we’ll celebrate culture, sustainability and community – right in the heart of Baden’s old town.

Access to the Kurtheater Baden is barrier-free through the main entrance on Parkstrasse. The theatre hall and the New Foyer can be reached barrier-free via the lift in the entrance foyer. The rehearsal room on the 5th floor is also accessible. Wheelchair-accessible toilets are available in the front building and in the back building. Inductive hearing with your own hearing aid (mode "T") is available in the hall in the stalls, not in the balcony. Hearing aids can be borrowed free of charge from the cloakroom for a deposit.
