Tropical greenhouses by night
The three greenhouses of the Stadtgärtnerei are open throughout the Long Night. The night-time lighting creates a very special atmosphere.
The Palm House, designed as a varied jungle, is a place of tranquillity featuring over 50 different plant species and various birds. The Tropical House is home to exotic flowers and fruits. The abundance of colours, shapes and scents, the high humidity and the roar of the waterfall create a unique atmosphere. In the Subtropical House, plants from Madagascar are exhibited, cared for and preserved as a botanical collection.
