The Power of Utopia: Living with Le Corbusier in Chandigarh

With the construction of the Indian planned city of Chandigarh 75 years ago, Le Corbusier completed his most significant urban planning project. Chandigarh is a controversial Gesamtkunstwerk, a modernist utopia. The film follows four cultural figures living in the planned city and, through an atmospheric narrative, reflects on Le Corbusier’s legacy, utopian urban ideas and the cultural differences between East and West.
