Book Launch & Talk with Peter Fischli and Dr Caitlín Doherty
LUMA presents the launch of Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, a new publication by Peter Fischli, produced by LUMA Foundation and Verlag der Buchhandlung Walther und Franz König.
To launch the publication, Peter Fischli will be in conversation with writer Dr Caitlín Doherty. The conversation will be followed by a book signing.
More than a documentation of Fischli’s exhibition People Planet Profit at LUMA Arles (2025), the book unfolds as a dense, filmstrip-like sequence of images. Captured on Fischli’s phone, a kaleidoscopic flow of images chronicles the exhibition while reflecting on the signs and systems that shape contemporary life. The publication examines how the symbols and infrastructures of capitalism vie for attention and structure perception, revealing a world in constant, dizzying flux.

A staircase with 14 steps leads to the Löwenbräukunst main entrance (Limmatstrasse 270).
The accessible entrance is at Limmatstrasse 268; all levels of the building are accessible by lift and all the galleries are wheelchair accessible.
A wheelchair accessible WC is on level 1.UG (basement).
Reserved parking for visitors with disabilities is available in the rear courtyard - access via Gerstenstrasse.
