MISSandTROOPS
A year has gone by and the seventh edition of the Ahoj Festival is here. Keller62, in collaboration with the Slavic Studies Department at the University of Zurich (UZH), has supported this wonderful, diverse and inclusive festival from the very beginning as a partner of Cesky Klub Zürich and so one thing leads to another.
The Husovský couple’s concert programme consists of original songs by Martin and Veronika, tracks by the bands Komajota and MISSandTROOPS*, and, for the most part, various well-known Slovak and international cover versions (Jaro Filip, Miro Žbirka, Nirvana, Portishead, Radiohead, Amy Winehouse, Duran Duran, Chris Isaak...) in atmospheric piano arrangements performed solely by piano and vocals.
*The MISSandTROOPS project is a musical ‘B-side’ project by the Husovský couple, stylistically rooted in alternative electronic trip-hop, with a focus on a ‘troop’ of synthesisers and samplers.
