On an area of around 53 000 m2 , the Botanical Garden cultivates around 9000 different plant species, many of which are in flower at any given time or impress with the richness of their leaves and fruits. A large meadow and a pond invite visitors to linger, especially in summer. A visit to the Botanical Garden is worthwhile at any time of year, whether for the pleasure of flowers, botanical interest or recreation. Here, the most diverse senses are stimulated by the beauty of the shapes and colours for the eye, the wide range of fragrances for the nose and for the sense of touch the surface of the most diverse leaves and bark.
