The Central Uster is a charming multi-genre venue housed in a former cinema and serves as an important cultural hub in the city of Uster. It offers an attractive program spanning theater, music, dance, cabaret, performance, discussion series, and participatory formats. The Central, along with its affiliated BAR CENTRALE, is open to everyone and, inspired by the diversity of the Uster region, serves as a place of encounter, fruitful debate, and a symbol of urban vibrancy. In addition to our regular program, the stage hosts interactive events and is available for rehearsals, social activities, as well as public and private events — whether through partnerships or rentals. Supporting local culture is close to our hearts. With the Central stage, we aim to establish Uster not only as a venue but also as a production site for cultural events.
The Central is wheelchair accessible and equipped with a wheelchair-accessible toilet.
