Art in Public Space (KiöR) is responsible for all matters related to public art in the city of Zurich. We initiate and realize art projects in public spaces that accompany the city's development. In addition, we maintain existing artworks and serve as a point of contact for anyone interested in the topic. Whether it's a sculpture in a park, an art installation in a public square, or a temporary work by artists in a neighborhood—art is part of urban life. It creates points of reference, changes perspectives on urban space, and allows people to rediscover their city. Nowhere is the dialogue between art and the public as immediate as in public space.
