The goal of artist and concert management Nina Orotchko "Musical Discovery" is to help young artists find their way into professional life. Thus, the concert series "Music at ETHZ and UZH" was founded in 1994 and has since established itself as one of the most important institutions in Zurich's concert life; the concerts take place monthly in the beautiful Semperaula of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich. On this occasion, over three hundred outstanding young musicians from all over the world have already been given the opportunity to present themselves to Zurich audiences. Motivated by the desire to attract new audiences to the concert hall, "Musical Discovery" programmes its concert series with a fresh and innovative look, where classical music is the main focus.
