An interdisciplinary house for city, space, architecture and environment
What role do city, space, architecture and environment play in our lives - now and in the future? The ZAZ BELLERIVE Zentrum Architektur Zürich is a meeting place, exhibition space, event and mediation centre around questions of building culture. It reflects the perception of architecture and theory, as well as the public discourse of urban planning and development, environment, society, urban and architectural history.
Our temporary exhibitions, discussion events, lectures and participatory mediation vessels are not only aimed at a specialist audience, but at the general public. In addition, we also offer a stage for spontaneous, unconventional events as well as events organised by external partners.
The Cultural Department of the City of Zurich supports the institution with an operating contribution and makes the Villa Bellerive available to the sponsoring association ZAZ BELLERIVE Zentrum Architektur Zürich, which was in pilot operation until June 2021. In July 2021, the ZAZ BELLERIVE Zentrum Architektur Zürich switched to permanent operation.
