Looking closely, looking again, looking differently can sometimes reveal unexpected perspectives. In collaboration with the Adult Education Centre and the journalist Thomas Binotto, the Filmpodium is pleased to present the ninth season of the ‘Re:vision’ lecture series.
Re:vision 8/03 The Post
Meryl Streep’s aura almost overshadows the content itself; Steven Spielberg will probably never shake off his blockbuster image; and we expect John Williams to churn out iconic melodies one after the other. When the film also deals with historical events and figures, there is a further risk that the narrative will be lost in the fact-checking process. In his Re:vision of The Post
