Zurich Film Buff Quiz 2026

The legendary Filmbuff Quiz is back for its 18th edition. The Filmpodium once again invites all quiz-loving film enthusiasts to compete against one another in a friendly yet fierce contest, drawing on their genuine, supposed or confidently fabricated film knowledge – and, of course, an extraordinary dose of luck. When filling in the paper questionnaire, we’re relying on your impeccable ethical integrity and the watchful eye of those sitting next to you – criminal records won’t be requested, and doping tests will only be carried out in exceptional cases. And the pros in the audience are given a slight handicap, so that others also have a chance of winning attractive prizes. However, you can also take part in the Filmbuff Quiz simply as a spectator, enjoying the questions – which are sometimes clever, sometimes silly – or the clips shown, or cheering on your own favourite film knowledge gladiators. Due to consistently high demand, we strongly recommend booking in advance.
