Engaging Art Stories
For people with dementia and their relatives or carers
Under expert guidance, people with dementia enthusiastically develop a shared story based on a selected work of art. What is said is noted down and gradually woven into a story. Relatives are welcome to observe this creative process. The discussion of the artwork concludes with a relaxed chat over light refreshments. With Eveline Schüep.
To ensure the event is an enjoyable experience for everyone involved, volunteers are on hand to assist with getting around the Kunsthaus. This programme is aimed at people with dementia who are interested in culture. Memory difficulties and word-finding difficulties are no barrier to participation. The block programme consists of four sessions. To register, please contact kunstvermittlung@kunsthaus.ch or call 044 253 84 06.
