Martial In-Albon feat. Seraina Tall
Archaic alphorn sounds in present time and space
Musician Martial In-Albon brings archaic alphorn sounds into the present through his work. This project began when he recorded the "Miniatures" for his album "Alphorn Tunes" (2025) in the Hünenberg water reservoir in the Chnodenwald, where the reverberation lasts for over 45 seconds. He is now bringing this extraordinary music to the stage.
An interplay of natural tones, electroacoustic composition, dance and surround sound comes together to create an immersive performance that connects the past with the present. The timelessness of the sounds creates a connection to the moment, the place, the people and the vibrations of the present.
The invisible becomes visible and the intangible becomes tangible, all the while in constant contact with the ever-present interplay of space and time.
