Eskorzo

Formed in 1995, this legendary band from Granada is considered a pioneer of the mestizo movement in Spain, combining styles as diverse as cumbia, afrobeat, gypsy punk, reggae, ska, funk and jazz. Influenced by artists such as Fishbone, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Talking Heads, Mano Negra or Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Eskorzo is today itself a reference for musical fusion at the highest level. Live on stage, the seven musicians not only work like clockwork, but also radiate exuberant joy of playing and pure madness. An adrenaline rush of energy and sweat that leads the audience into a collective catharsis, whether at a rock, jazz or world music festival. With more than a thousand concerts worldwide, eight released albums and over 28 years of musical career, Eskorzo is always breaking new ground and is considered one of the most interesting and authentic acts on the current scene.
