Special guided tour with curator and Deputy Director Johannes Beltz

Religion and Art in South Asia

This guided tour focuses on Buddhism, Jainism and Hinduism. Using selected works of art, the curator provides an overview of the teachings, ritual practices, similarities and differences between these three religions, which originated in India. At the same time, the tour offers insights into the history of the museum’s collection and provides a fresh perspective on the cultural history of South Asia.
