THE EMPEROR’S NEW CLOTHES

Freely adapted from Hans Christian Andersen

Three fateful days in the life of an emperor with a penchant for clothes, and how two little rogues play a trick on him! The emperor’s wardrobe is a moth’s paradise.

Lively dialogue, sharp acting and rapid scene changes characterise this adaptation of Andersen’s fairy tale. Performed with wit using amusing puppets and lively dialogue, this well-known tale about the deceptive nature of power and wealth and the fear of the truth makes for an entertaining hour’s theatre.
