Against Erasure: Reading and Talk with Sahar Tavakoli
Sahar Tavakoli explores experiences of loss, exile, resistance and new beginnings. Through powerful language, she recounts personal and societal pain, but also speaks of hope, love and the power of poetry. The reading offers insights into her literary work and into the world of an author who distils her experiences between Tehran and Switzerland into poetry.
As part of the exhibition ‘Wir und der Krieg’ and the book and literature festival ‘Zürich liest’. In collaboration with Weiterschreiben Schweiz.
