Opera is weird, over-the-top, and old school? Absolutely! Come on over, let yourself be transported to another world, and find out for yourself why the Opernhaus Zürich is one of the world's leading cultural institutions.
Opera House for Everyone
For the first time, the Zurich Opera House will present the popular open-air format “Opernhaus für alle” over three consecutive days. Throughout an entire weekend in June, audiences can enjoy live screenings of an opera and a ballet performance, as well as an open-air concert featuring the opera orchestra on Sechseläutenplatz. In addition to a diverse pre-program each evening, the newly founded Children’s Opera Orchestra will also perform as part of the event.
