OUT!

Can you imagine that the simplicity of a game of table tennis, with its most basic elements, could encompass the full richness and complexity of our world and our history?

‘OUT!’ explores the concept of otherness with humour and poetry, whereby table tennis ceases to be a sport and instead becomes a metaphor, indeed almost a cosmogonic principle. A rhythmic, absurd and deeply human dialogue born of the frustrated desire to be together. For the game to continue, it is ultimately not necessary to be the same: it is enough that someone stands on the other side of the table. Life, like playing, consists of maintaining the rhythm. There is only a game when there is a response.

‘OUT!’ tells of connection and the importance of the ball continuing to bounce.
