The time machine Solveig takes the audience on a journey through the history of the Earth. Together with her crew, they discover worlds long gone, experience meteorite impacts and volcanic eruptions, and encounter extinct prehistoric creatures. The journey begins in the present and takes them all the way back to the Big Bang. We ask ourselves: what if, one day, humans were to become extinct too?
‘Wir sind dann mal weg’ combines complex questions and visually striking stage worlds to create a fascinating theatre experience for all generations.
In collaboration with Kristina Jankovic, a sign language teacher and translator of plays into Swiss German Sign Language, a version of the play ‘Wir sind dann mal weg’ has been developed in both sign language and spoken language.
