GAME OVER PLAY FOREVER
Raw material (CH)
Maria Callas, the legendary diva, is planning her dramatic exit because her fame has faded like her once celebrated voice. But then two dazzling visitors appear and offer her a deal: a second round in the game of life. One more big stage. And suddenly Maria Callas finds herself in an absurd game show.
"GAME OVER PLAY FOREVER" is a theatre piece about the queer community's fascination with the figure of the diva, in which an existential longing manifests itself: the possibility of a life outside of social norms. In their drag personas Freda DIN and NOTRE DAME, Lars Wolfer and Sebastian Ryser combine puppet theatre, video and lipsync performances to create a wild theatrical ride between drag show and Punch and Judy show.
