More women in the creative industries on Wikipedia!
Wikipedia Writing Workshop
Many female artists, architects, designers, photographers and other women* working in the creative industries do not yet have a Wikipedia entry. We want to change that – together with you. Anyone can write, expand or improve articles on Wikipedia. You too!
To make it easier to get started in the Wikipedia universe and to support you in writing your own articles, Sabine Hagmann, Andrea Helbling, Chris Regn and Nicole Boillat, with the support of Wikimedia CH, organise monthly writing workshops. During these evenings, new articles are created, translated and existing entries expanded. Participants are supported by an experienced Wikipedia user.
Create a user account in advance, bring a laptop and a suggested article, or let yourself be inspired by the existing list. You can find all the relevant information in this Wikipedia entry.
