Taking concrete action for the climate

Input and discussion with the Climate Grandparents

Many of the effects of climate change are already being felt in Switzerland. What can each and every one of us do to help protect the climate? This is a question the Climate Grandparents ask themselves time and time again. They intend to continue campaigning for action to tackle climate change in the coming year. That is why a small group of members has put together some ideas, which are now to be discussed on a larger scale.

The focus of the evening will be on questions regarding concrete action: what can civil society – comprising committed individuals, associations and organisations – do to ensure that climate protection measures are implemented as quickly as possible? How can we win over a wider audience to this cause? And what alliances will help us achieve these goals?

Non-members and those who are not grandparents are also warmly invited to join the discussion, put forward their own constructive suggestions or get involved in a project in a practical way.

The Climate Grandparents are a charitable and politically independent association.

As representatives of the older generation, they campaign for climate protection, climate justice, the preservation of biodiversity and a future fit for our grandchildren.
