54 Ultra
A 1980s aesthetic and a blend of Latin, soul, indie and synth-pop make the art of 54 Ultra truly distinctive. This image has evolved steadily since 2020 for 25-year-old Johnny Rodriguez, when the musician, who has Puerto Rican and Dominican roots, founded 54 Ultra as a one-man band with a DIY approach.
The one-man project has since grown into a four-piece band, with which 54 Ultra will present their debut EP ‘First Works’ on a world tour featuring shows in Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Brooklyn, London and Paris . In October 2026, the New Jersey-born artist will return to Europe under the banner LIVE IN EU. As well as two concerts in Germany, in Cologne and Berlin, 54 Ultra will also be playing a show at EXIL on Saturday 17 October 2026.
