Ian Hooper
Ian Hooper, singer and frontman of the indie-folk band Mighty Oaks, has announced his own tour for April 2027. The tour kicks off on 10 April with the release of his haunting cover of “Nose on the Grindstone” (originally by Tyler Childers).
The song was first performed as part of TV Noir – where cover versions are traditionally part of the concept – and quickly became a fan favourite on tour. Demand for an official release grew steadily.
The release marks the start of the next phase: a new Mighty Oaks album and the band’s tour in autumn 2026 will be followed by further solo releases, leading directly into his own tour in April 2027.
