As one of the most influential figures in the modern German trap scene, Düsseldorf-based rapper Boondawg demonstrates that US-inspired rage and trap sounds à la Playboi Carti or Yeat also go down well here in Germany. Whether it’s ground-breaking album releases for the German trap scene or collaborations with genre heavyweights such as Apsilon, Souly, Thizzy52 or Blumengarten – Boondawg is coming to Zurich’s EXIL with his new project Godspeed in tow.
