In its autumn concerts, the Siggenthal Youth Orchestra (SJO) presents two giants of the Romantic era: Robert Schumann and Joachim Raff. Their two works had to overcome a fair bit of resistance before they both became success stories.
Are you already looking forward to those wonderful walks in the woods this autumn? Then we’d be delighted to provide the perfect soundtrack: Joachim Raff’s Third Symphony ‘In the Forest’. The composer guides us through a fantastical world by day and by night, complete with a nocturnal dreamscape and fantastical characters.
With the Brugg-based cellist David Lüthy, we also embark on an adventurous journey through Schumann’s Concerto for Cello and Orchestra, exploring this marvellous work which, sadly, the composer himself never got to hear.
The Siggenthal Youth Orchestra is looking forward to the upcoming autumn concerts and warmly invites you to the second part of ‘…now more than ever!’.

Access to the Kurtheater Baden is barrier-free through the main entrance on Parkstrasse. The theatre hall and the New Foyer can be reached barrier-free via the lift in the entrance foyer. The rehearsal room on the 5th floor is also accessible. Wheelchair-accessible toilets are available in the front building and in the back building. Inductive hearing with your own hearing aid (mode "T") is available in the hall in the stalls, not in the balcony. Hearing aids can be borrowed free of charge from the cloakroom for a deposit.
