Christoph Walter Orchestra

A familiar song, a warm smile, an evening spent with the people who matter most to us. The Christmas season thrives on the moments we can share. With its ‘It’s Christmas Time’ tour, the Christoph Walter Orchestra is bringing precisely these moments to concert halls across Switzerland for the fifth time.

Together with the vivacious singer Nelly Patty and the Swiss singer Moritz Schlanke, the audience will be enchanted by the festive spirit. The programme features a mix of Christmas classics, modern interpretations and original compositions such as ‘Three Nuts for Cinderella’, ‘Fang das Licht’, ‘Petit Papa Noël’, ‘Snowman’ and much more.

A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Support Association for Children with Rare Diseases (KMSK). Together, we’re giving them visibility, support and hope. The donation will help improve the quality of life for children with rare diseases. The KMSK’s song ‘Du bisch mir wichtig’ is a touching, heartfelt song, written and composed by Moritz Schlanke, which expresses exactly what unites these children: love, solidarity and strength.

Through Christoph Walter’s arrangement and the joint performance with Schlanke on the ‘It’s Christmas Time’ tour, the aim is to raise awareness of the charity, as well as the children affected and their families. Christmas is a time for families, for gratitude and for giving.
