Choreo Persona
The Kurtheater Baden is hosting the launch of the international professional development programme ‘Choreo-Persona – Tools of Contemporary Choreographic Practice’, which was developed in collaboration with Tanzvermittlung CH.
Led by the choreographer and dancer Luvyen Mederos Gutiérrez, founder of Choreo-Persona, and the Cuban artists Luis E. Carricaburu and Gretel Medina, participants will explore contemporary tools of choreographic creation through improvisation, collective composition and participatory methods.
This training programme offers a space for research and exchange for young dancers, artists and cultural practitioners who wish to expand their creative toolkit.
Language: German and English with translation into French or Spanish.
Registration is now open; places are limited. In addition, subsidised places are available for young professional dancers aged between 18 and 25 with links to the canton of Aargau.
The programme will continue on 13 September at the Baden Regional Care Centre (RPB) with a creative workshop involving the centre’s residents, and will conclude with a free public performance at 4.00 pm.
