Hanna & Harald
The legendary Harald Schmidt live at the Kurtheater: Hanna Scheuring welcomes Harald Schmidt for a sophisticated dinner conversation: about Harald, Hanna and the world, from Pontius to Pilates, from daily sensations and sleep patterns to gherkins for breakfast… An unscripted evening discussing current world affairs and the little habits on the luxury liner that is our life.
Harald Schmidt is one of Germany’s best-known presenters and entertainers. He became legendary above all for his late-night show ‘Die Harald Schmidt Show’, which ran very successfully on television from 1995 onwards. With his ironic and often sarcastic humour, he shaped German television entertainment for many years. Schmidt originally began his career as a theatre actor before moving into television. His programmes were broadcast on Sat.1, amongst others, and later on ARD. He is regarded as one of Germany’s most prominent and influential late-night presenters.
Hanna Scheuring, originally from Wettingen, is an actress, director and theatre manager. She rose to fame in the 1990s through the sitcom “Fascht e Familie”. She later also starred in the television series “Lüthi und Blanc” and worked on numerous theatre and film productions. Since 2014, she has been in charge of the Bernhard Theater in Zurich, where, as director, she has made her mark on Swiss entertainment theatre.
