Tribute to Johnny Cash

The ‘Man in Black’ is regarded in this country as the paragon of country singers. But in his native America and in many parts of the world, too, the charismatic singer from Arkansas became an icon, an institution of popular music. And not just because of his music.

Over the course of a full life, Johnny Cash experienced great love and triumphs as well as the deepest depths. He usually emerged stronger from his crises and was able to celebrate unexpected successes in the autumn of his life. Johnny Cash and June Carter accompanied each other through an eventful life; they were married for 35 years. When June died in May 2003, Johnny followed her just four months later.

This musical tribute to Johnny Cash offers a captivating insight into a dazzling musical and personal life – as always with the tried-and-tested ‘Rigiblick Tributes’, featuring exquisite musical, vocal and acting performances.

○ “Life is rough, so you gotta be tough.” Johnny Cash
