Dr Feelgood
Dr Feelgood, founded in the early 1970s on Canvey Island (Essex), are still one of the most captivating rhythm and blues live bands in the world today. Their uncompromising style took them straight to number 1 in the UK charts with the album Stupidity.
With classics such as Roxette, Milk and Alcohol and Back in the Night, they celebrated international success and received their first gold disc. The last album with frontman Lee Brilleaux (Down at the Doctors) was recorded live in Canvey Island shortly before his death.
The current line-up unites long-standing band members with new impulses, including singer Robert Kane. With the highly acclaimed studio album Damn Right! (2022) and the live album Live in Caen (2024), Dr Feelgood impressively prove that they are still one of the world's best live acts.
