As In Plastic
AS IN PLASTIC experiments with codes and references from pop culture, deconstructs them and carefully develops its own stylistic language from them: Words of love, community and solidarity are embedded in noise-laden guitar ostinatos and hypnotic rhythms – a convergence of anger, reconciliation and homecoming: all nestled together in vulnerability.
Since its formation in 2022, the group has undergone several line-up changes as well as alterations to the project’s name. AS IN PLASTIC has reached a new level and is the result of a quest for and transformation of artistic identity.
A creative process characterised by committed friendships and a strong will to change and grow together. AS IN PLASTIC’s determined interplay slowly heats the blood to boiling point, yet the voice sends shivers down your spine like cold, clear water. Unpolished (Krautrock-style) riffs accompany a distinctive voice that strikes a chord with the listener. Outbursts of raw physicality and moments of calm collide. Whilst the music still echoes in the ears, questions and answers fade away into the room.
The Gagging Spoons
Since around 2017, the Zug-based band have mostly been playing their own tracks, which lie somewhere between punk rock, garage and alternative rock. Meanwhile, the former quartet has shrunk to a trio, consisting of drummer Lenz Gnoos, bassist Stefan Keiser and guitarist/singer Oliver Lanninger.
Will these three spoons make you gag or get you dancing? Come along and find out…
lost in transit
Formed in 2024, the band lost in transit blends alternative, indie and rock into a unique mix of calm and chaos, pain and optimism. Their music serves as an escape from everyday life, characterised by powerful sounds and gentle melodies. Inspired by bands such as Cleopatrick, Sleep Token and Badflower, they create authentic songs that reflect the ups and downs of life. Live, they captivate audiences with raw energy and a joy for melodic experimentation, building a soundscape that sweeps the audience away and transports them to another reality.
