10–11 October at Galvanik Zug: The Zugvögel Openair invites you to unique musical encounters – featuring local and international acts, the local community and new soundscapes.

The Zugvögel Openair is a place for connection, creativity and shared experiences. Under this year’s theme ‘Resonance – Music Connects Worlds’, the festival will bring together local and international artists at the Galvanik Cultural Centre on 10 and 11 October 2026, creating unique musical moments crafted especially for the festival.
The focus is on collaborations that can only be experienced at the Zugvögel Openair: international acts join forces with choirs, orchestras and musicians from Zug, different musical styles merge, and new soundscapes emerge.
But connections aren’t just forged on stage. Zugvögel sees the audience as an active part of the festival. In formats such as the open ‘Circle Singing’, everyone is invited to sing along and create music together. An Immersive Sound Experience opens up new ways of engaging with sound and creates space for mindfulness, community and deep listening.
Up-and-coming musicians are also given a platform: local newcomers from the canton of Zug present their music in a professional festival setting and become part of a diverse programme featuring regional, national and international artists.
Zugvögel stands for musical diversity, openness and shared experiences. Whether pop, soul, indie, choral music or orchestral soundscapes – here, genres, cultures and people come together as equals.
