Carmen – an opera by Kulturschock

Bizet’s ‘Carmen’ in a unique setting: with a professional orchestra, regional soloists, drama, dance and a choir, this famous opera is brought to life in a fresh and immediate way.

The story, centred on the conflict between Carmen’s unconditional demand for freedom and Don José’s increasingly obsessive passion, is set against a dazzling demimonde backdrop in Kulturschock’s production, making it a perfect fit for the unusual ‘Opera in the Bar’ setting.
