Digital Daddy

Stand up Comedian Benjamin Delahaye

Digital Daddy

Stand-up comedy

Has humanity fallen in love with the World Wide Web because it has made academic information freely accessible to everyone? Yes, exactly… The internet has transformed our lives and given us everything: knowledge, entertainment, platforms for self-expression – and websites that are definitely only visited by those over 18.

And in return, it has taken… everything from us. Our attention span? Gone. Our privacy? Erased. Our capacity for intelligent political discussion? Well, that was always optional.

In *Digital Daddy*, comedian Benjamin Delahaye delves deep into our collective digital addiction. From the grand promises of the first modem connections to the chaotic madness of the social media era, he dissects the absurdity of a world in which technology was supposed to bring us closer together – yet has instead left us more isolated than ever before.

Is life really better today? Witty and incisive – this evening is for anyone who’s ever thought to themselves: ‘I really ought to go offline… straight after this last video.’

Language: Standard German, or whatever Benjamin considers to be Standard German.
