slip - "I!"
Ego – Me, of course!
Whilst narcissism is running rampant on the world stage, a revolt is brewing at Lapsus: Peter Winkler and Christian Höhener, the people behind the stage personae Hitzig and Gschwind, no longer want to be dominated by their stage characters. Now they’re speaking out! After all, it is they who breathe life into the duo. “Wrong!” their alter egos retort. “Without us, you’re nothing!”
In their eighth stage show, the two comedians tackle the big question of authorship behind the many roles we play in life. To do so, they bring back all the characters they’ve created throughout their careers: From the swinging farmers Sellerie and Rinderwahn, with whom it all began, to the singing Swabians Harald & Harald, right through to the cult local heroes Theo Hitzig and Bruno Gschwind. New to the line-up: Peter and Christian. The real ones, in flesh and blood.
This promises utter chaos, plenty of laugh-out-loud moments and a fast-paced show utilising every artistic and technical trick in the book – just as one would expect from Lapsus. The question remains: Who exactly is it that’s putting on such a show here?
