Put on your dancing shoes – it’s party time again!
Unbelievable – this is already their eighth appearance at the Scala: the band that doesn’t shy away from the big funk and soul hits.
When the house lights go down and the seven-piece soul band is let loose, there’s no stopping the crowd! An irresistible groove sweeps everyone along. Anyone not already dancing wildly tries to rein in their twitching toes and bobbing head, whilst their heart warms under the spell of the rich brass riffs and the stunning voice – somewhere between velvet and dynamite.
So let’s get going: lace up your shoes, roll up your sleeves and head to the Scala. Because one thing is certain: when the Sugarpuffs get going, not a single foot stays still, not a single brow remains dry and not a single soul is left untouched.
Line-up: Jacky Vetterli (lead vocals), Bruno Kaufmann (tenor saxophone), Don Randolph (trombone), Markus Alder (guitar), Zoli Szalatnay (keys), Vali Magaro (bass), Michel Bühler (drums)
