Simon Enzler

Simon Enzler is “zmetztinne”.
Too old to still be considered a newcomer, too young to be a veteran, he finds himself at a turning point in his life. He is turning 50. And because he was already on stage as a mere 15-year-old, he can now look back on three and a half decades as an attentive observer and eloquent pub-goer.
How does he see himself, his profession and his surroundings? How does one deal with the signs of fading youth and increasing short-sightedness? How does one stay on course in the white water of the present? How much future is left in it? One does not know. - Enzler rows. And has been doing so for years. But that is precisely what gives him confidence. For even though a rower inevitably looks backwards, he still moves forward.
