Models that get under your skin

What do organs do? How are they structured and where are they located in the body? The collection provides answers whilst also encouraging visitors to ask new questions. Discover the ETH Zurich Anatomical Collection of Domestic Animals, featuring its historical models, skeletons and specimens. Learn how anatomy is taught and brought to life through models – including the use of digital technologies. To round off the visit, you’ll get hands-on and explore a cow model both physically and digitally.

As part of the programme accompanying the exhibition ‘Models – Shaping Knowledge’ at extract, this visit takes you to a place where scientific models are still used today in research and teaching.
