A dramatic author's evening that combines performative readings and electro-acoustic improvised music. Yuri Andrukhovych and the multi-instrumental Karbido trio juggle with contemporary aesthetics, genre patterns and the sound-creative memory of the musical avant-garde to create a musical-literary experiment. The theatre evening is a musical interpretation of texts from the novel Radio Night, read performatively by the author. It is the story of an opponent of the regime who imitates his own radio programme in a hiding place (perhaps in prison). The background to the plot is the time of the pandemic, climate protests and Russian aggression - a time of burgeoning hopes for radical change.

Yuri Andrukhovych, born in 1960 in Ivano-Frankivsk/Western Ukraine, the former Galician city of Stanislav, studied journalism and began his literary career as a poet. He soon also published essays and novels. in 1985, he co-founded the legendary literary performance group Bu-Ba-Bu (Burlesk-Balagan-Buffonada). His work has received numerous awards and has been translated into 20 languages. His most recent publications are "Die Lieblinge der Justiz" (2020) and "Radio Nacht" (2022). He lives in Ivano-Frankisk and is considered one of the most important cultural and intellectual voices in his country.

Karbido (Tomasz Sikora, Marek Otwinowski, Marcin Witkowski) is a Polish band that experiments at the interface of music, literature, theatre and sound. They have been active in Wrocław for 20 years and have already released ten music albums and over 30 film and theatre scores. They have also been working with Juri Andruchowytsch for 20 years
