Films For Future Festival
See - Understand - Do
Films for Future will take place this year from 1 to 30 November 2025 at twelve different locations in Zurich. We expect around 10,000 visitors to attend the more than 100 events. The films shown will be memorable and tell of the pressing issues of our time - while at the same time inspiring hope. From the climate crisis and environmental protection to social justice and visions of the future. Accessible, hopeful and inspiring.
Since 2012, the Films for Future Festival has been bringing films, people and ideas together - for a sustainable and just future.
Under the motto "See - Understand - Do", spaces are created for dialogue, reflection and activation. Unique documentaries and gripping feature films will be shown on a diverse range of topics that will arouse everyone's curiosity. The festival combines depth of content with an open approach for a broad audience and emphasises a hopeful perspective with humour. "With the festival, we want to show that dealing with topics relevant to the future is not only interesting, but can also be fun," says Edwin Moser, Films for Future Managing Director & Founder. "Our films and discussions open up perspectives, create proximity to complex topics and encourage change." The venues are located throughout Zurich: Helferei, blue Cinema Capitol, blue Cinema Corso, Stadtgärtnerei, Impact Hub, Karl der Grosse, Kulturpark, Rote Fabrik, Paulus Akademie and Zentralwäscherei.
Films for Future not only offers a wide selection of international and national film highlights, but also in-depth panel discussions following all screenings. Experts, activists and thought leaders will discuss with each other and with the audience - engaging, inspiring and relevant to everyday life.
Information on the programme and ticketing will follow.
