Dragon Love

Part Three of the #carecity art project A new child, a new solo show: following her widely toured one-woman show *Mama Love*, Lea Whitcher once again brings the reality of her life to the stage, seeking the political – and the fantastical – within the personal. For it is high time to rethink networks of relationships and care, to sharpen our battered sense of possibility, and to set off for Care City. In a feminist magic show, Lea Whitcher channels elements and hormones, witchcraft and dragon fire for a world just the way we like it – adventurous, playful and wild at heart. ‘Dragon Love’ ties in thematically with the _stories* from 2024 and the solo piece ‘Mama Love’, concluding the trilogy on the theme of #carecity.
