Zurich Poetry Lecture I with Blixa Bargeld
The Zurich Poetry Lectures will be celebrating an anniversary in 2026: For exactly thirty years, at the invitation of the German Department and the Literaturhaus Zürich, renowned authors – including W.G. Sebald, Herta Müller, Christoph Ransmayer and Marion Poschmann – have been speaking about their writing on three evenings every autumn.
To mark the anniversary, none other than Blixa Bargeld, frontman of ‘Einstürzende Neubauten’, will take on the role of poetry lecturer. This coming November, the Berlin-based poet and spoken-word performer will offer an insight into his creative process – and, not least, highlight the relationship between sound, voice and poetry.
