Open Studio: Experiencing worlds of sound together
Dear families, children and accompanying adults, today we are opening our museum and studio especially for you! At 2.00 pm, we’ll set off together on a journey of discovery through the exhibition *Canción de Amor* by the artist Nicole L’Huillier. There’s plenty to hear, see and try out here, as the colourful sound installations only come to life through the participation of visitors.
From 2.30 pm, we’ll be getting creative in the open studio: using recycled materials you’ve brought along – such as empty tins, cardboard boxes or plastic cups – we’ll create our own imaginative sound objects using paints, pebbles and other materials to rattle, drum and chime. There’ll also be a tasty afternoon snack. We look forward to a fun-filled afternoon with you!
Please bring along: clean yoghurt pots, cottage cheese tubs, tin tins or toilet roll tubes
2.00–2.30 pm: Interactive family tour of the exhibition
Meeting point: Museum reception area
From 2.30 pm: Workshop in the art education studio, basement
