Company Spokenmovements – Einfach Mann
‘Einfach Mann’ is a poetic, fragmentary stage composition in which poetry, contemporary dance, music and video merge to form a cohesive performative statement.
The texts are based on the poems of Serhij Zhadan, which resonate as both an inner monologue and the collective voice of a generation. At its heart lies a man’s life journey — from the physical, pre-linguistic experience of birth and childhood, through love, loss, fear and the assumption of responsibility, to maturity and an awareness of one’s own existence in the context of war.
