Chasperli Saves Christmas – Premiere
The very worst thing that has ever happened took place today!
Alarm in Chasperliland! The wicked witch Giixigäx, together with the dreadful robber Schnappsack, has kidnapped the Christ Child and hidden her in the forest along with her sledge full of presents for the children. Oh dear! Without the Christ Child, this year’s Christmas is, of course, in jeopardy!
A reward is promised to whoever manages to find and free the Christ Child, chase away the witch, catch the robber and lock him up.
Chasperli wants to earn this reward together with his friend Friedli, so they set off into the woods. Perhaps Chasperli’s greatest wish will come true and he’ll be able to see and free the Christ Child.
This enchanting Christmas-themed Chasperli adventure from the Märlitheater Zürich is suitable for everyone aged 4 to 104.
Running time: 45 to 50 minutes, no interval.
