Day trip to Solothurn
For this year’s club trip, we were inspired by the performance of the orchestral work *The Little Prince*, based on the novel by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry with music by Stefan Plank, at the family concert on 31 October 2026. Since November 2025, Solothurn has been home to a museum dedicated to this theme. The historic Palais Besenval houses the exhibition ‘The Little Prince and His World’, which offers an insight into the universe of The Little Prince. In the morning, we will visit the idyllic Verenaschlucht, a mystical place of power just outside Solothurn, where a hermit still lives today. After a hearty lunch, we will be ready to visit the Little Prince Museum on a guided tour led by an expert. Afterwards, you will have some free time, or, if you prefer, you can join Stéphanie Stamm on a walk through the old town, including a visit to St. Ursen’s Cathedral.
Registration deadline: 16 August 2026. Limited places available; priority given to members and subscribers. Participants receive free admission to the family concert ‘The Little Prince’ on Saturday, 31 October 2026.To this organizer's website
