Grock

An evening full of humour, melancholy and music: in the Grock reading, the ‘King of Clowns’ is brought back to life for 80 minutes. Philipp Langenegger reads from his memoirs, shows rare and unpublished photographs, and lends Grock’s voice a gripping presence. Historical sounds – performed by Simon Lüthi and Madlaina Küng on the double bass – bring the world of the 20th century’s most famous clown to life. A theatrical experience not to be missed.
